Maya’s passion for food and entrepreneurial spirit led her to co-found Food Gallery ME, earning her both local and regional acclaim. She has over fourteen years experience in the food service industry, owning and operating restaurants, bakeries, fast-food concepts and catering businesses.
Maya worked as a consultant to internationally renowned companies such as the Sheraton in Jeddah, and more recently to the Beirut Hospitality Company (BHC), a Solidere venture. During that time she conceived, developed and managed new concepts including Café M, Relais Foch and GRID Coffee, as well as a 1,200m2 central production kitchen and catering business.
Starting in 1998 and in addition to her consultancy work, Maya began to develop her own restaurants including Tribeca, Pinocchio, Tartuffo, the Beirut Cellar and Fiona’s. With her partner, Gebran, she is currently developing a new pastry concept, a “make your own salad” concept Shoots, a burger shop, a Lebanese restaurant, and a rotisserie.
Maya was also awarded the best woman achiever in hospitality in 2010 amongst many other awards.
She is also very active in promoting entrepreneurship and is a famous advocate of women empowerment programs as well as promoting CSR amongst the private sector in Lebanon

Gebran is an entrepreneur and co-founder of Food Gallery ME. He has extensive experience in development strategies, marketing, franchising, consultancy and operational procedures in the Middle East. He specializes in the scaling and development of food and beverage concepts.
His vast knowledge on research, market analysis, market gaps, and consumer behavior helped him develop cutting-edge concepts in the UAE and Lebanon with his partner Maya. He is currently managing, operating and franchising Shoots, Burger Box, and a Lebanese restaurant.
